1 small head of green cabbage shredded
1 onion diced
3 strips of bacon
2 tsp. flour
1/4 cup sugar or 1/8 cup Splenda
1/2 cup white vinegar
1 cup water
salt and pepper to your taste

Directions:
Directions:
Cook bacon and onion in a large skillet for 10 minutes. Remove them and wipe out the bacon grease. Return bacon and onion to the skillet and break up the bacon into pieces. Add cut up cabbage and the remaining ingredients. Let it cook slowly for an hour turning it a few times. I usually cover it for quicker cooking if I am in a hurry.
