1 1/2 cups all purpose flour
1 tsp baking soda
1/4 cup sugar or sugar blend Splenda
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup butter, softened
2 large eggs, separated
1 tsp vanilla flavoring
2 cups semi-sweet chocolate morsels, divided
3/4 cup nuts, chopped

Directions:
Directions:
- preheat oven to 325º
- grease a 13 x 9 pan

step 1:
- combine flour and baking soda in a bowl
- beat regular sugar, 1/4 cup brown sugar and butter in a large bowl until creamy
- beat in egg yolks and vanilla
- slowly beat in flour
- stir in 1-1/4 cup chocolate chip morsels
- press mixture in the baking pan

step 2:
- beat egg whites until peaks form
- add in remaining brown sugar and beat till peaks form
- spread mixture over dough
- sprinkle 3/4 cup of chocolate chip morsels over the top
- bake for 35 - 40 minutes
