1 pkg. McCormick Cooking Bag & Seasoning Pot Roast Mix
3 to 4 lbs. chuck, bottom round or rump roast, trimmed
1 1 lb bag of baby carrots (or more if you desire)
1 onion, sliced
1/4 cup water

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º.
Arrange opened Cooking Bag in 13x9-inch pan or dish.
Place roast and vegetables in bag.
In a seperate bowl, stir seasoning packet and water until well blended.
Pour over roast.
Close bag loosely with nylon tie.
Cut small holes in top of bag to allow steam to escape.
Bake in lower half of oven for 2 hours.
Remove from oven.
Let stand 5 minutes.
Cut open bag.
Put roast on a serving platter and cut slices.
Then scoop vegetables into a serving bowl and pour the pan juices into bowl.

Meal is best with mashed potatoes.
Important: Allow 8 inches for Bag to expand while cooking. Cooking bag should not touch oven walls or racks.
