1/2 cup flour
1/2 cup corn starch
1 egg
1/2 cup ice water
Pinch of salt

Directions:
Directions:
Mix dry ingredients.
Add ice water and egg.
Mix well.
Drop desired veggies or meat into batter and fry in hot oil.

Yaeko was my cousin from Japan, so this is a true Japanese tempura recipe. She was a great lady and cook, and she was taken from us far too early.
