"As I ate the oysters with their strong taste of the sea and their faint metallic taste that the cold white wine washed away, leaving only the sea taste and the succulent texture, and as I drank their cold liquid from each shell and washed it down with the crisp taste of the wine, I lost the empty feeling and began to be happy, and to make plans."--Ernest Hemingway

Directions:
Whip cream with an electric mixer. After a minute or two in the mixer you will have yummy whipped cream.
Keep the mixer whipping on high and you will have homemade butter within about 5-8 more minutes.
The butter will separate leaving a liquid. Drain the liquid then whip the butter with teaspoon salt to combine.
Your butter is now ready to use just as you would use your favorite store bought butter.

You can add fresh chopped rosemary and honey for a great addition to use on corn bread, or maybe just right out of the bowl!
