1 cup shortening
1 cup white sugar
1 cup brown sugar
2 eggs
2 cups flour
1 cup chunky peanut butter
1/2 tsp salt
2 tsp baking soda
1 cup rolled oats

Directions:
Directions:
Have greased cookie sheet ready. Beat together the shortening and sugar until fluffy; add eggs and beat well. Blend in peanut butter. Mix and sift the dry engredients , and stir gradually into batter. Stir in rolled oats. Shape dough into 1 inch balls. Place on cookie sheet and press with a floured fork. Bake at 350*F for 10 to 12 min.
