2 tbls olive oil
2 cloves garlic , chopped
2 large onions, chopped
3/4 tsp salt
1 tsp fresh oregano or 1/3 dried
2 tbls fresh basil or 2 tsp dried
1/4 tsp red pepper flakes
2 # can plum tomatoes, chopped or processed
1/2 tsp sugar

Saute oil,garlic, and onions

Add salt, oregano, basil, and red pepper flakes

Add tomatoes and sugar

Simmer uncovered 30 minutes
