Sharon Klinkhammer Crane From Marie

1 1/2 cups Sugar

2 Cups Flour

2 tsp. Baking Soda

1/2 tsp. Salt

1 tsp. Baking Powder

2 Eggs

1 tbls. Oil

1 tsp. Vanilla

1 Large can Crushed Pineapple plus juice equaling 2 cups. Add water if needed.

Before baking place 1/2 cup brown sugar. I usually add more because I don't use the coconut or nuts.

Optional 1/4 cup coconut

1/2 cup nuts

While still hot frost with:

1 cube Butter

1/2 cup Sweetened Condensed Milk

3/4 cup Powdered Sugar

Boil first 3 ingredients for 2 minutes.

Pour over hot cake.
