1 cup soft butter (2 sticks)
2 cups flour
1/2 cup granulated sugar

Blend all ingredients. Roll dough into logs and wrap in parchment. Chill dough. Thinly slice dough and place on baking sheet. Top with sanding sugar. Bake at 350º for 10-12 minutes or until edges are lightly brown.
