1 Cup Sugar
3 Tbs Flour or Corn Starch
3 Tbs Cocco
1/2 tsp Salt
2 Cups of Milk
1 tsp Vanilla
3 Eggs
+
pinch of Cream of Tartar
1 Tbs Sugar
Directions:
Directions:
Mix flour, sugar, coco and salt. Heat Milk in sauce pan, take 1/2 Cup of Milk and mix with flour and sugar mixture. Pour in pan with the rest of the milk. Cook about 5 min. Add a little of the mixture to the eggs, and then pour in the pan with the mixture. Cook until thick. Remove from heat, add vanilla and cool. Beat egg whites until stiff. Add 1(?) Tbs sugar and a pinch of cream of tarter. Spread over pie and brown in 400 degree oven.
