Vanilla Icing:
1 pkg instant vanilla pudding (any flavor will do)
use only 1/2 of the milk it calls for on the pkg
1 container of Cool Whip

Option: If making a pineapple cake
1 can crushed pineapple, drained

Chocolate Icing:
2 cups sugar
1 1/2 cans evaporated milk
1/4 stick margarine or butter, softened
4 tbsp powdered cocoa
1 tsp vanilla flavoring

vanilla Icing:
- whisk together the pudding mix and milk till it thickens
- fold in the Cool Whip
- if making a pineapple cake, fold in drained pineapple
- spread the icing on the cake

chocolate Icing:
- mix sugar, cocoa, milk and vanilla flavoring together
- cook in a sauce pot until thick, about 10 minutes
- add margarine, mix well
- allow to sit a few minutes before spreading on cake

cake instructions for chocolate icing:
- preheat oven 350º
- cook cake (any kind) according to box directions, allow to cool
- split cake in half
- turn cake halves upside down with cut sides on top so that the chocolate icing can run into the holes of cake
- spread chocolate icing on all layers
