For bottom of pan..... 3 tbls. melted butter, 3 tbls. brown sugar, 1 cup chopped walnuts,

Cake batter....... 2 tbls. butter, 1 cup of sugar, 1 egg separated, 2 squares melted bakers chocolate, 1 cup flour, 1 heaping tsp baking powder, pinch of salt, and cup of milk

Mix the butter ,brown sugar, and nuts. Grease the pan so the cake will not stick. Put in the bottom of an angel food cake pan, I guess you could use a regular pan also. ................ Cream the butter and sugar, add 1 egg yolk,mix and add melted choclate, alternatley add dry ingredients with the milk. Fold in the stiffly beaten egg white.. . Spread the batter over the nuts and bake for 30 minutes at 350 until knife inserted comes out clean. While warm invert cake on a plate.

This is a very decadent cake. You could amp it up by serving whipped cream or vanilla ice cream with it, but it can definitely stand alone! DELISH!
