1 box German chocolate cake mix
1 cup chopped nuts
⅓ cup evaporated milk
¾ cup butter
14 oz package of caramels
⅓ cup evaporated milk
1 cup chocolate chips
Directions:
Directions:
Melt caramels and ⅓ cup evaporated milk over double boiler. Keep warm.

Mix cake mix BY HAND, butter, nuts and ⅓ cup evaporated milk.

Press ½ of batter into greased 9x13 pan. Bake at 350º for 6 minutes.

Remove from oven and sprinkle with chocolate chips. Pour hot caramel over all.

Crumble remaining batter over caramel.

Bake 16 minutes. Let cool.
