1 cup butter
1 cup sugar
1 cup brown sugar
4 eggs (well beaten)
1 cup white flour
1 cup whole wheat flour
2 tablespoons cinnamon
2 teaspoons soda
teaspoon salt
4-5 cups grated carrots
3 teaspoons vanilla
1 cup chopped pecans

8 oz cream cheese (soft)
2 teaspoons vanilla

Mix butter and sugar, beat well. Add eggs, beat well.
Mix in all flour, cinnamon, soda, and salt.
Add vanilla and carrots, mix.
Add nuts and mix well.
Bake in greased and floured 13x9 pan for 35-40 minutes at 350.
Cool before frosting.

Mix cream cheese and vanilla and mix well.
Add honey to correct spreading consistency. Frost when cake is cool.
