2 C (12 oz) semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 pkg (8 oz) cream cheese
2/3 C evaporated milk
1 C chopped Walnuts
1/2 tsp almond extract

3 C unsifted flour
1 1/2 C sugar
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1 C butter, softened
2 eggs
1/2 tsp almond extract

Directions:
Directions:
Combine choc chips, cream cheese and evaporated milk in saucepan. Cook over low heat, stirring constantly, until chips melt and mixture is smooth.
Remove and stir in walnuts, and 1/2 tsp almond extract - Blend well - set aside.

Combine remaining ingredients in a large bowl. Blend with mixer until resembles coarse crumbs
Press 1/2 into greased 9x13 pan. Spread w/ chocolate mixture.
Sprinkle the rest of the crumbs over filling.

Bake at 375º for 35-40 minutes or until golden brown.

Cool - cut into bars.
