2 lb. turnip roots
1 tbsp. sugar
1 onion, sliced
3 tbsp. butter
3/4 tsp. salt
3 eggs, will beaten
1/2 tsp. pepper
1 can cream of mushroom soup

Directions:
Directions:
Peel and cut turnips into pieces. Cook in a little water with sugar and onion until tender. Drain and mash; mix with remaining ingredients Place in buttered casserole dish and top with cracker crumbs and Parmesan cheese. Bake 30 minutes at 350º or until firm.
