1/2 c. Crisco
1 c. sugar
2 eggs (beaten)
2 oz. red food coloring
3 tbsp. Nestle Quick
1 c. buttermilk
2 c. flour
tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tbsp. vinegar
1 tsp. baking soda

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350.
Cream Crisco, sugar, eggs and food coloring. Add Nestle Quick and mix well. Add buttermilk, flour, salt and vanilla, blend well. Combine well vinegar with baking soda and add to mixture. Grease and flour pan and pour batter into pan. Bake 30 35 minutes until done. Cool completely. Top with Never Dry Frosting.

8 tbsp. Crisco
3 tsp. flour
1 c. granulated sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
c. warm milk

Combine using a stand mixer and blend continuously for 8 10 minutes.
