3 cups Chokecherry juice
6+1/2 cups sugar
2 pouches fruit pectin( certo)

Directions:
Directions:
Wash and stem about 3 litres ripe chokecherries .
Place in saucepan with 3 cups water, bring to a boil and simmer, covered for 15. minutes.
Place in sieve or colander and let drip.
Measure 3 cups juice into a very large saucepan. Add exact amount of sugar, mix well, and place over high heat. Add 1 tsp. butter to reduce foaming. Bring to a boil while stirring constantly. At once stir in pectin and bring to a full rolling boil and boil hard 1 minute stirring constantly.
Remove from heat , pour into sterilized jars and seal.
