1 c shortening
1 c white sugar
1 c brown sugar
2 eggs
2 c flour
1 t baking soda
1 c coconut
t baking powder
t salt
2 c oatmeal
1 t vanilla
1 small pkg chocolate chips


Directions:
Directions:
Combine shortening, white sugar, brown sugar, and eggs. Cream well.
Add (sifted together) flour, baking soda, and salt. Mix well.
Add oatmeal, coconut, vanilla, and chocolate chips.
Drop by teaspoonfuls on well-greased cookie sheet.
Bake 10-12 minutes in a 350 oven.
