10 slices firm bread (like original Arnold regular size)
softened butter

½ lb. grated sharp Cheddar cheese

2 c. regular milk
3 large eggs
1 tsp. dry mustard
1 tsp. salt
½ tsp. pepper
Several shakes of Worcestershire Sauce

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 375º. Grease a rectangular casserole dish.

Lightly butter each slice of bread; cut off crusts and cube each slice into 9 squares.
Combine milk, eggs, and seasonings.
Layer bread, liquid, cheese; repeat layers.
Bake in water bath until firm - approximately 45 min.

The consistency will be similar to a souffle but not quite as light and fluffy.
