2 cups butter
3 cups sugar
4 eggs
3 cups flour
4 tsp cream of tartar
2 tsp baking soda
tsp salt

4 tbsp sugar
4 tbsp cinnamon

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 400

Mix butter, sugar and eggs thoroughly. Blend in flour, cream of tartar, soda and salt.

Shape dough by rounded teaspoonfuls into balls. Mix 4 tbsp of sugar and 4 tbsp of cinnamon in a small bowl.

Roll balls into mixture.

Place balls 2" apart on ungreased baking sheet

Bake 8-10 minutes or until set.

Remove immediately from baking sheet onto cooling rack.
