Caesar salad Recipe

1 clove garlic, peeled and sliced
½ C olive oil
1 C cubed French bread
2 heads romaine lettuce
1½ tsp. Salt
¼ tsp. Dry mustard
Black pepper
5 anchovy fillets or 3” anchovy paste
3 T wine vinegar
1 egg
Juice of 1 lemon
3 T Parmesan cheese

Put garlic in oil for 24 hours
Sauté French bread cubes in 2 T olive oil
Break romaine into large salad bowl, sprinkle over it salt, dry mustard, pepper and anchovy.
Add wine vinegar, and remaining oil.
Drop egg into bowl, then squeeze lemon juice over salad and add Parmesan cheese
