Ingredients:
Ingredients:
2 cups crushed pretzels, (not too fine)
3 tbsp. sugar
¾ cup melted butter
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
2 cups powdered sugar
1 (9 oz.) container Cool Whip
2 cups boiling water
1 (6 oz.) pkg. strawberry gelatin
1 (10 oz. pkg frozen strawberries

A good variation is to use a 10 oz. can of Mandarin oranges, drained, juice reserved and chilled. Take 3 oz. pkg. of orange gelatin .Use juice and add enough water to make 1 cup to add later. Mix gelatin with 1 cup boiling water and whisk until dissolved. Whisk in the cold mandarin juice and mix in the mandarin oranges. Then place on the cream cheese layer.

Directions:
Directions:
Combine the first 3 ingredients; pat into a 9x13 inch pan. Bake at 350 for 10 minutes; let cool. Cream together powdered sugar and cream cheese. Fold in Cool Whip; spread over pretzel layer. Chill to set. Mix together water and gelatin. Add frozen sliced strawberries. When mixture begins to set, pour over second layer. Chill until firm.
I love to use raspberry gelatin and frozen raspberries. Sometimes I top it with a little Cool Whip.
