2 Tbsp. yeast (dissolve in 1/2 cup warm water)
8 Tbsp. butter
8 Tbsp. sugar
2 cups scalded milk
4 eggs, beaten in separate bowl
2 tsp. salt
6 cups flour

Directions:
Directions:
Put butter, sugar and salt in mixing bowl. Dissolve yeast with warm water in a bowl. Add hot milk to butter mixture; add eggs, add 3 cups of flour, mix; add yeast/water mixture, mix; add remaining 3 cups of flour. Let rise until dough is doubled. Punch down. Roll dough out onto floured surface. Cut into circles.
Spray cookie sheets. Take cut out dough, fold in half with a little dab of butter inside to close side together. Let rise again, about 40 minutes. Bake at 375º for 10 minutes, until slightly golden.
