3 c. sugar
1 c. corn syrup
1-½ c. water
¼ c. butter
2-½ t. baking soda
¾ c. raw peanuts
2 t. vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Stir sugar, and corn syrup together until mixture boils.
Cover kettle to steam for 3 or 4 minutes.
Remove cover, cook to 275º; add butter and peanuts.
Stir constantly until peanuts are roasted and syrup is golden (300º).
Remove from fire and add vanilla and soda; stir until well mixed.
Pour onto a slab or large platter and stretch it as thick as possible.

Pull from edges a little at a time.
