Honey Lavender Cookies Recipe

The Alcantara Family


2/3 c melted butter
1 c white sugar
1/4 c honey
1 egg
1 tsp vanilla
2 c flour
2 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
Course grained sugar
2 tbsp lavender buds

Preheat oven to 350
Beat melted butter, honey, sugar until smooth
Beat in egg and vanilla until well combined.
Fold in flour, baking soda, and salt
Place in refrigerator for 30 minutes
Take 1-2tbsp of dough and roll into balls.
Flatten with the palm of your hand and roll it in the coarsegrain sugar and then the lavender buds
Bake for approx 10 minutes on a parchment paper lined cookie sheet
