2 cups all purpose flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
3/4 tsp. salt
3/4 cup softened butter
1 3/4 cups sugar
3 eggs
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 cup sour milk

Directions:
Directions:
Combine together 2 cups all purpose flour, 1 1/2 tsp. baking powder, 1/2 tsp. baking soda and 3/4 tsp. salt.

Cream 3/4 cup softened butter and 1 3/4 cups sugar. Beat in 1 egg at a time. Add in 1 1/2 tsp. vanilla and 1 1/2 cup sour milk.

Fold in dry ingredients in the wet egg mixture. Put into greased and floured cake pan. Bake at 350ºF for 45- 50 mins. Cool and remove from pan.

* For chocolate cake add in 3/4 cups cocoa powder.

* For marble cake split mixture in half and add 1/2 cup of cocoa to one of the mixtures. Pour one mixture into pan then other mixture on top. Use knife to swirl as desired.
