Apple/ Fruit Pie Recipe

4 cups thinly sliced apples ( tart)
3/4 cup sugar
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1 tbsp. flour
1 tbsp. butter

Directions:
Directions:
Combine all ingredients and dot pie pastry with butter. Cover over the pie with the top crust and slice 4 lines in the top of it. Seal edges and flute.

Bake at 450ºF for 15 mins reduce heat to 350ºF and bake for another 35 to 40 mins.

For frozen pies take covering off and make slits in the top crust. put in oven at 425ºF and bake for 60-75 mins. After pie has baked for 20 mins place foil around the edges of the pie to keep from over browning.

For other fruit pies follow the same ingredient recipe and substitute apples and take out cinnamon.

Notes:

*If using canned pie filling add 2 tsp. cornstarch, 1/2 cup sugar, pinch of salt.

*If fresh raspberries are very tart use 1/4 cup more sugar.

*If using frozen berries use 1 tbsp more flour to ever 4 cups of berries.
