1 C flour
½ C butter
2 T water
1 C water
½ C butter
1tsp. Almond extract
1 C flour
3 eggs
Toasted sliced almonds
Glaze
1½ C confection (10x) sugar
1 T melted butter
1½ tsp. Vanilla extract
1-2 T water

Directions:
Directions:
Mix 1 C flour, ½ C butter, 2 T water until spreadable. Make 2 12”x3” pastries on a cookie sheet.
Bring 1 C water and ½ butter to a boil. Add almond extract and 1 C flour. Stir off heat for 1 min. Add eggs and mix until glossy.
Spread on top of 2 pastries. Bake 1 hour @ 350º.
After cooling, put on glaze and toasted almonds.
