Small cucumbers
Fresh dill
Garlic cloves
Alum
Salt

Vinegar
Water

Directions:
Directions:
Place some fresh dill in bottom of jar and 1 garlic clove.
Put cleaned cucumbers in jar and add more dill on top.
Put in 3/4 tsp. alum and 1 tbsp salt per quart.

Make syrup by boiling:
1 cup vinegar and 2 cups water

Pour over pickles
