1 package wheat bran flakes with raisins
5 cups all purpose flour
3 cups sugar
1 T plus 2 tsp baking soda
2 tsp salt
4 eggs that are beaten
4 cups buttermilk
1 cup vegetable oil

Directions:
Directions:
Bake 400 for 12 to 15 minutes. Combine first 5 ingredients in a large bowl; make a well in the center of the mixture. Add eggs, buttermilk and oil; stir just enough to moisten the dry ingredients. Cover and store in refrigerator until ready to bake as needed. Batter can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 6 weeks.
