3 cups flour
2 cups sugar
1 cup shortening
2 cups milk
1 1/2 tsp vanilla
1/2 tsp. lemon extract
3 tsp baking powder
1 tsp salt
4 eggs
Directions:
Directions:
Sift four, baking powder and salt together. Cream shortening and sugar. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each. Add flour mixture alternating with milk. Add vanilla and lemon extract.
Bake at 350º for 30 minutes.
