1/3 cup cocoa
1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate morsels
2 cup bite-size square bran cereal, crushed to 2/3 cup
3 egg whites (room temperature)
3/4 cup sugar
1 tsp vanilla
1/4 tsp peppermint extract

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 275. Lightly grease baking sheet. In small bowl, combine cocoa, chocolate morsels and cereal crumbs; set aside.

In medium bowl, beat egg whites until foamy. Gradually beat in sugar until stiff and glossy. Fold in vanilla and peppermint extracts along with chocolate mixture. Drop by rounded teaspoonsful onto baking sheet. Bake 20 minutes. Turn off oven; let set in oven 1 hour. Remove. Makes 4 dozen puffs.
