4 T. butter
2 lbs asparagus
1 cup milk
1 tsp. cornstarch mixed w/ 2T cold water
1 cup Gouda cheese shredded
1 cup muenster shredded
1 tsp. salt
1 cup coarse breadcrumbs
1/2 cup grated asiago
1/4 tsp. black pepper

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 425 degrees. Grease 9" x 9" glass baking dish with 1 T. butter. Arrange trimmed asparagus in dish.

Simmer milk over medium heat. Stir in cornstarch to thicken slightly. Add Gouda & muenster & whisk in until smooth & creamy, season with salt. Pour cheese over asparagus.

Melt remaining 3 T. butter. Toss with the breadcrumbs, asiago & pepper. Sprinkle over asparagus.

Bake 20-25 mins til bubbly & lightly browned.
