Brown Sugar Cookies Recipe

1 stick butter
1+1/2 cup brown sugar
2 eggs
1/2 tsp salt (if you use salted butter)

1 cup sour cream

3 cups flour
1 tsp B-Powder
1 tsp B-Soda

3/4 cups chopped roasted pecans


ICING ....

Powdered Sugar
1/2 stick to 1 stick butter (browned)
1/2-1/2 or canned milk
1 tsp vanilla

Cream the butter, brown sugar, eggs and vanilla until fluffy

Fold in Sour Cream

Fold in the dry ingredients

Fold in the roasted nuts

Spoon onto cookie sheets and "always bake a tester cookie" to see if it rises correctly. It may need more flour

Bake at 375 until done


Brown the butter, add to powdered sugar, vanilla and cream

Ice when cool
