Peanut Butter Blossoms Recipe

1/2 cup butter ,softened
1/2 cup peanut butter
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar ,firmly packed
1 egg
1 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
1 3/4 cups flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 cup vanilla sugar ,or plain granulated sugar
48 Hershey's Kisses ,unwrapped

1. Preheat oven to 350F.
2. Combine the butter and peanut butter in bowl.
3. Beat until well blended.
4. Add both the granulated and brown sugars and beat at medium speed until light and fluffy.
5. Add egg, and vanilla; continue beating until well blended.
6. Add flour and baking soda then beat at low speed, scraping bowl often, until it's completely mixed.
7. Shape dough into 1-inch balls.
8. Roll balls in 1/4 cup sugar.
9. Place 2 inches apart on cookie sheets.
10. Bake 8-10 minutes.
11. Gently press 1 chocolate kiss in center of each cookie.
12. Let cool on cookie sheets for 5 minutes.
