1 package chocolate cake mix
½ c shortening
1 tbsp. water
2 eggs
Directions:
Directions:
Mix lightly.
Grease pan.
Form into balls.
Roll in powdered sugar.
Place 2" apart.

Bake at 375º for 7 - 10 minutes.
Put peppermint patties on each cookie quickly when removed from oven - press lightly.
