Ingredients: 3½ cups flour 3 cups sugar 2 tsp baking soda 1 tsp nutmeg 1 tsp cinnamon ½ tsp ground cloves 1½ tsp salt 2 cups solid packed pumpkin 4 eggs 1 cup vegetable oil 1 tsp vanilla extract ⅔ cups water nuts and raisins optional

Directions:heat oven 350º grease 2 bread pans (or use 4 empty 1lb coffee cans). In one bowl mix all dry ingredients. in another bowl mix wet ingredients. Mix dry and wet ingredient together until will blended. If nuts and raisins are desired and them now. Pour batter into bread pans and bake for 1 hour or take a tooth pick and insert it in the center of the bread, if it comes out dry its done. |

Notes: To have a little fun bring this with you when you visit family or friends. I did and they got a kick at of it. If you have empty (1-lb) coffee cans,full them with the pumpkin batter and you can cook them right in the oven. When done use the lids to cover the can when cooled down. make sure you grease inside the can with butter this will help get the bread out easier.
