1-(12 oz.) pkg. fresh cranberries
1 C. sugar
1 C. water

Directions:
Directions:
Mix sugar and water in saucepan. Stir to dissolve sugar. Bring to boil. add cranberries, return to boil, reduce heat. Boil gently for ten minutes, stirring occasionally. Remove from heat. Cool completely at room temperature and refrigerate. Makes 2-1/4 c.. NOTE: for jellied cranberry sauce, strain through cheesecloth while hot.
