1 cup butter
1 cup powdered sugar
1 egg
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2¼ cup flour
1 cup pecan halves
2 cups candied cherries (green and red) cut in half

Directions:
Directions:
Using a mixer, cream butter, powdered sugar, egg and vanilla.
Add flour and mix well. Stir in pecan halves candied cherry halves. Chill 1 hour.

Divide dough in thirds. Shape in rolls 12 inches long. Wrap in waxed paper. Chill at least 3 hours. Cut into ⅛-inch slices. Place on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 325° for 13-15 minutes until delicately browned edges.
