popcorn
1 cup packed light brown sugar
1 stick of butter
1/2 cup light karo syrup

1 teaspoon baking soda to be used later after boiling above ingredients

In large pan on stove melt together the butter, brown sugar and karo syrup mixing as it melts. Bring to boil and boil for 2 minutes stirring constantly. Remove from heat and add 1 tsp of baking soda (will start to foam) Pour over popcorn and mix together. Place popcorn in oven at 250 degreesfor 45 minutes stirring every 10 minutes. Pour onto wax paper and heat safe surface to cool.

Can use microwave popcorn or mike sells puffed popcorn
If using microwave popcorn use 3-4 bags of popcorn, pop the corn and try to remove as many of the kernals as possible I place bag of popcorn into large bowl and scoop out by hands into a large "dutch oven" that way all kernals are left at the bottom of the bowl and can be thrown out.
