½ Cup Butter
2 Cups Sugar
1 Teaspoon Salt
2 Eggs
3-½ Cup Flour
1-½ cup Orange Juice
1 Cup Chopped Walnuts
2 Cups Cranberries (cut in half)
1 Teaspoon Baking Soda
3 Teaspoons Baking Powder
1 Tablespoon Grated Orange Rind

Directions:
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350º.
2. Cream together butter, sugar, and eggs. Beat well, until light and fluffy.
3. In separate bowl, sift together flour, soda, baking powder and salt.
4. Add flour mixture alternately with orange juice into butter mixture until just combined.
5. Gently stir in walnuts, cranberries and orange rind until fully incorporated.
6. Line loaf pan with brown paper and grease well (soup cans may also be used).
7. Fill containers about 2/3 full.
8. Bake for 70-90 minutes (if using soup cans, bake for 35-45 minutes).
