Ingredients:  
1 can tuna
1/2 cup chopped celery
1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
onion, dried flakes - couple of good shakes
1/4 cup mayonnaise
salt and pepper to taste

hamburger buns

Directions:
Directions:
Mix all ingredients together. Spread mixture on 1/2 of a bun. Place on baking sheet.


Bake 350 for 15 minutes

I had almost forgotten this one and it's a favorite. The original recipe came from The Betty Crocker's New Boys and Girls Cookbook, 1965. That recipe said to use American cheese and put filling in the buns, wrap in foil and bake.

Years ago I started making them open face, using 1/2 of the bun or English Muffin and I always use sharp cheddar cheese.

So good!!!
