2 c. sugar
1 pt. fresh blueberries, washed and drained
4 eggs
3 c. flour, divided
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
2 sticks butter, softened
1/8 tsp. salt
1 1/2 tsp. lemon extract

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each. Dredge blueberries in 1/4 cup flour. Sift remaining flour, salt and baking powder together and add to sugar mixture. Add lemon extract. Mix well and gently fold in blueberries. Batter will be thick. Bake in a 10 inch tube pan at 325º for 1 hour 10 minutes or until cake tester comes out clean. Set on rack and cool at least 10 minutes.
