7/8 cup Evaporated milk.
Dash of salt
2 pkgs golden brown sugar (2 lbs)
1 1/2 tbsp butter.

Directions:
Directions:
Boil to soft ball stage, stirring constantly. This will not take long. Check every few minutes.

Remove from heat and add 1 1/2 - 1/34 cups peanut butter. Stir vigorously until it thickens slightly.
Pour into prepared buttered pan. Let cool.

My Aunt Erminia(my father's sister) who lived in Livermore Falls, ME was widowed very young. She raised a large family of 5 boys and 3 girls. She was very religious and if you stopped by while they were all saying the rosary, you had to join in as well. Her peanut butter fudge was legendary! All of my brothers love her fudge and have wonderful memories of stopping by her house and enjoying a piece!
