2 1/2 c self rising flour
1/4 c sugar
1/2 t soda
1/4 c shortening
1 package dry yeast
1/4 c warn water
1 c buttermilk

Directions:
Directions:
Sift flour, soda and sugar together. Add shortening and blend using a fork. Dissolve yeast in warm water. Add yeast mixture and buttermilk to dry ingredients and mix well. Place in large bowl and store in refrigerator covered. Take dough out half hour before baking. Pat out and cut with biscuit cutter or place in greased muffin tins. Bake 400º until brown.
