Sweet & Sour Chicken Recipe

2-3 boneless chicken breasts
1 beaten egg
1/2 cup cornstarch
1 tsp. garlic powder
1 tsp. salt

Mix these dry ingredients together


1/4 cup chicken broth
1/4 cup ketchup
3/4 cup sugar
1/2 cup cider vinegar
2 tbsp soy sauce
1 tbsp apple sauce


Cut chicken in bite size pieces. Dip chicken in egg and then in cornstarch mixture. Lightly brown in fry pan with a little oil. Lay side by side in baking dish.

Mix all sauce ingredients and pour over chicken.

Bake at 350 for 1/2 hour. Baste a few times during baking.
