Cream Pie:
1/2 to 3/4 c Granulated Sugar
2 tbsp. Cornstarch
3 tbs Flour
1/8 tsp Salt
2 c Milk
2 to 3 Egg Yolks
1 tsp Vanilla

Banana Cream Pie:
1-2 Bananas

Coconut Cream Pie:
Shredded Coconut

Directions:
Directions:
Filling:
Blend sugar with cornstarch, flour, & salt. Add hot milk. Cook over low heat, stirring constantly until thickened. Add well beaten egg yolks. Cook one minute longer. Cool slightly, stir in vanilla.

Add filling to already cooked pie crust in a dish and top with Meringue.


Banana Cream Pie:
1-2 Bananas sliced and placed at the bottom of the pastry shell before adding the filling and merengue.

Coconut Cream Pie:
Add coconut to the cream at the end before placing in the pastry shell, and top with coconut.
