1 c. butter, softened
1 ½ c. confectioner's sugar
1 egg
1 t. vanilla
½ t. almond extract
2 ½ c. all-purpose flour
1 t. baking soda
1 t. cream of tartar
Granulated Sugar

Directions:
Directions:
1. Mix thoroughly butter, confectioner's sugar, egg, vanilla, & almond extract.
2. Blend in flour, soda, & cream of tartar. Cover, chill 2 to 3 hours.
3. Heat oven to 375º. Divide dough in half. Roll each half 3/16" thick on lightly floured cloth covered board. Cut into desired shapes; sprinkle with granulated sugar. Place on lightly greased baking sheet. Bake 7-8 minutes or until light brown on edge.
