Add 1/2 c Butter or Oleo 2/3 c Canned Evaporated Milk (Carnation Milk) 2 c Granulated Sugar, Cook over medium heat until it cooks to a soft ball stage, about 15-20 min (Soft ball on candy thermometer) Stirring constantly! Large Batch:
Cook 4 c Granulated Sugar,1 2/3 c Carnation Milk (evaporated), 1 c Oleo (2 sticks) to a soft boil stage about 20-25 min stirring constantly. (Test in 1/2 c cold water if forms a soft ball shape) then add 1 3/4 -2 c Chocolate Bits, 2 c Marshmallow Creme, 1 tsp Vanilla. Beat till all is melted and mixed then add 1 c Chopped Nuts and whip until almost starts to set, then pour into buttered pans. I use 1 11 x7 glass & 1 8x8 pan.
